Larkspur School Modernizations
and Expansions, Larkspur California
For the modernization and expansion of one junior high school and two elementary schools, Earth Systems personnel reviewed prior geotechnical studies and provided geotechnical consulting services and implemented a subsurface exploration program to evaluate geotechnical characteristics for the subsurface soils.
Our analysis generated a site-specific seismic response spectra which helped determine the liquefaction potential, the vertical and horizontal load bearing capacities of the foundation, and the total and differential settlement. Our study concluded that the site was suitable for development.
Earth Systems also provided materials testing and special inspections during the construction phase of the project. |
